He
attended the School of Engineering at Columbia
University
in 1909. In
the winter of 1912-13 discovered that feed back through the
grid
of
the current Triode obtained the plate, it was reinforced and intensity
signals increased a thousand times. He
was born on regeneration
circuit or receiver reaction whose discovery was kept secret until 31
January 1913. The
first practical application came at the outbreak of war when Britain
interrupted all communications between Germany and the United States
for which the German embassy in Washington,
remained isolated, was not just ask to test the equipment Armstrong:
communications with the mother country were shooting and remained
outstanding until the war in the USA in 1917. |
